I am very excited to get to know your child this term. I firmly believe that clear communication between parents, guardians, and teachers can make students feel supported and successful. I invite you to use this blog as a resource for information and communication.
What is Happening in room K101?
On the home page of this blog, you can view the Daily Agenda, Objectives, and Homework. When students are absent, encourage them to check the blog. Most homework is available for download (hover over the homework and click on it to access the link). In the rare occasion that a live-link is not available on the blog, the assignment is not available electronically. I also suggest students contact a friend in class to see what else they might have missed. When in doubt, your child is always welcome to e-mail me with specific questions. I highly encourage parents to teach their students to problem solve themselves. The best (and fastest) way to reach me is at jserban@schscougars.org.

You will receive an e-mail every time a new entry is added to the blog (daily). Daily posts will include the objectives for the day, classwork and homework.
GRADES
Grades are updated on Illuminate often. Please log in to Illuminate to keep updated with your child's grade and e-mail me with any questions or concerns.
